A project which aimed to distinguish Singapore’s visual identity. Singapore is a very colourful city, however, it can often leave you feeling as though someone is sweeping up your footprints as you walk — giving it the reputation of having little personality.
This project intended to show the contrast between the two faces of Singapore. The target audience was focused at tourists, asking them to look beneath the sterile uniformity of Singapore’s towering skyscrapers to unveil the footprints of the people and culture. I created a series of postcards that illustrated the divide between the local areas and the business district, asking tourists to consider which photographs they would send to accurately convey their experience of Singapore.
